Growing up in New Orleans, La., Daisy always had a passion for hip hop music and booty poppin'. Though she was never a trained dancer due to playing volleyball and tennis year-round, she discovered her love for dance fitness when she attended her first Zumba class freshman year at Louisiana State University.
Daisy obtained her Zumba certification the following summer and began her first teaching gig at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Harahan, La. She then accepted a position at LSU's recreation center and maintained teaching dance fitness there and at various apartment complexes and LSU sorority houses for nearly three years.
Instructing Zumba requires that at least 70 percent Latin music be taught during the class. Naturally, Daisy would fill the remanding 30 percent with hip hop songs. After students repeatedly requested for more, she decided to create a class that would be 100 percent hip hop, booty-based.
With her signature blend of cardio booty poppin', Daisy's class is popular for those who wish to get in shape while having a blast! Throughout the class, she encourages participants to let loose, laugh and most importantly, express their stankiest stank face.
Daisy graduated from Louisiana State University in 2014 with a B.A. in Public Relations with a minor in Health Sciences
